The Setting
A flashing neon sign proclaiming the name of the sports bar – Tap, The Bar – invites you in. A dark wooden door stands under it, with the handle quirkily shaped like a tap. Walk in and you are surrounded by wildly colourful graffiti and can hear the thumps of music echoing through the room. Pass through a second door and the music gets louder. Leather booths line the wall and chairs surround tables, providing comfortable seating for the party-people. Edison bulbs in cages that have been put on pipes on the wall add a retro look to the place. The bar is by a corner and it has glasses, bottles and various sports memorabilia like jerseys, baseballs, basketballs, trophies and hockey sticks. A DJ console is set out of the way in the corner of the bar.
With the TVs tuned to sports, this place spread over 2500 sqft accommodates up to 200 people. It is a haven for music lovers offering DJ nights too on every Saturday.
The Fare
The fare from The Tap definitely boasts about its range of Colourful Shots – fire shots included, Classic and Contemporary Cocktails, Tequila, Imported Whiskeys, Draft and imported beer. With regular drinks included they also have a live kitchen, which rolls out delicacies that include Kheema Pav, Kathi Rolls and Vizag Fish Fry.
Yo! Recommends
With a fancy fare, do try out their fire shots and range of snacks.
