Summer is on its verge and children are attending a lot of summer camps happening around the city. While most of these camps focus on academia, sports and creative hobbies, one summer camp in the city will take your child behind the scenes of the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park.
Visakhapatnam’s Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, in association with Vizag based NGO Trendsetters, are coming up with a children’s camp that will focus on teaching children about wild animals and the methods to take care of them on a city level. This camp will be organised for children belonging to classes 6, 7 and 8 and it is an experience that definitely should not be missed.
Children will be introduced to the wonderful world of animals through camp adventures that include animal bathing & feeding activities, bioscope presentation, behind-the-scenes visits, keeper talks, guided tours, feed preparation and more.
The Visakhapatnam Zoo Curator, Vijay Kumar has appealed all the interested students to utilise this opportunity to know about the insights of the zoo and enjoy the activities. This summer camp session will not only teach children about the importance of animals in the ecosystem, but also teach them to respect animals despite their enclosure.
The zoo camp will be organized from May 24 to May 26 between timings 8 AM to 11 AM. So, grab this chance and be a part of the zoo summer camp to let your child explore the other side of the wild.
