Student of ITI Vizag kidnapped for a ransom of 15 lakhs.

On Monday afternoon two unidentified men kidnapped a student of Industrial Training Institute in Vizag. The abductors have demanded a ransom of Rs.15 Lakhs and have threatened to murder the boy if the amount is not paid up to them on time.

The student has been identifeid as Ganta Manikanta, a lad aged 20 years who lives in Lakshminagar area in Gopalapatnam. The case was lodged by the victims family on Tuesday evening at the Gopalapatnam police station after his whereabouts remains unknown. On Tuesday morning a phone call was received by his sister from the kidnappers who have let known that they have a contract to abduct and kill the student for Rs.10 Lakhs. they have threatened that if the amount of Rs. 15 Lakhs was not paid to them, they would kill the boy.

Manikanta left home on Monday morning as usual but has not returned homee. futile attempts were made the family to trace him but to no avail. The ransom call concluded the student to have been kidnapped. The police are suspecting foul play by someone close to the boy or his family or both. The search for the victim has already commenced and the police forces have already deployed 9 special teams for search and rescue of the boy.
