StartAP (2)
When: 23 July
Where: Sai Priya Resorts
What:
The setting was by the beach, the waves breaking against the rocks as the sun set into the background. The people milling about, all determined dreamers, looking forward to meeting like-minded individuals and geared up for fascinating conversations. The event that brought all these people together – the StartAP Go – is the brainchild of Siddharth Marupeddi who brought us the ambitious StartAP Fest that happened in our city of destiny. The two day event that first debuted in Vijayawada, was a customised experience for Vizag.
Their new initiative, the StartAP Go, is a facilitator of satellite events and meet-ups across Andhra Pradesh to aid in the building and developing a start-up eco system in our state. The event that featured a lot of open conversations saw a turnout of more than 50 people from various companies. Discussions were held about how a better start-up eco system could be built in the city and about entrepreneurship in general. StartAP Go interestingly saw more product-based start-ups such as robotics, healthcare, gaming, etc than mainstream ones.
“The response and outcome of this event was amazing and StartAP team is glad to provide such platform and more of StartAP Go events across Andhra Pradesh,” said Siddharth Marupeddi, CEO at StartAP.
