St. Joseph’s College for women to celebrate Excelsior 2K18

St Joseph’s College for Women (Autonomous) in Vizag will be celebrating Excelsior 2K18. The college has been a platform for tapping creativity and talent among young women through Inter-Departmental and Inter-Collegiate Fests.

The Diamond Excelsior 2K18 with the theme ‘Soar Higher’ is the Two Day Inter Collegiate Fest that the College is organizing on 6 and 7 December 2018 – The Diamond Jubilee Year. The fest is expected to portray students’ knowledge, talents and competencies. A note from the college stated, “The success of the previously held two fests instills confidence in us that we are on the right path of providing the best platform for extra-curricular activities while utilizing the proceeds for supporting the educational needs of young girls from a low socio-economic background.” Here is what you need to know about the upcoming fest.

• The fest will be held in St Joseph’s College Campus at Gnanapuram, Convent Junction.
• The fest comprises of 23 events from individual to group drawn from all the colleges within the Smart City.
• About 4000 students are expected on the campus to compete for the top honours.
• The Personality Contest (Mr and Ms Excelsior 2K18) will mirror the cultural mosaic of India.
• There will be the Overall Championship for Excelsior 2K18.
