Special police unit team looks into gold dacoity case.

Yesterday, a special police unit team was formed to look into the investigations of the dacoity case. The unfortunate incident took place at PM Palem in Vizag. The victim Venkat Ramana has reported the matter on Tuesday. Ramana is a gold businessman and 3 kilograms of gold has been robbed from him. The special police unit is looking into the possibility of Rakesh, his associate as a culprit in the dacoity case. The brother of Rakesh is also implicated.

The police have widened their network by working with local police teams in other parts of AP and Odisha. The dacoity case is perpetrated by 5 people as per reports.The early investigations point at four members of the gang coming into the city earlier. They have purchased the arms here.

Rakesh who is the prime accused hails from Rajasthan. He goes by the alias of Lullu. He did minor silver business and supplied silver ornaments as dealer. His area of operations were in the city as well as Nowrangpur. A small time businessman, he was in dire need of money. The investigations look at financial troubles as the motive behind the crime.

The dacoity has occurred after the victim had trusted Rakesh as an associate. Threatening with the arms and gang members, Rakesh has fled with the booty. The special police unit have already been on the move forward in the investigations.
