Singing contest ‘Voice of Vizag’ to find the hidden talent in city

‘Voice of Vizag’ the singing contest for both men and women above 16 years is all set to start on February 10th in the city.

The winner will get the golden opportunity to share the stage along with the celebrated Bollywood playback singer Alka Yagnik on February 18th at AU Convocation Hall.

Prelims for the talent hunt will be conducted for two days at White House, Panduranga Puram starting on February 10th from 10:00am onwards. The contestants can perform one Antara and one Mukhda of a song in English or any of the Indian language. Both solo and duet performances are allowed but the participants will be judged on their solo capacity.

Selected on the basis of judges criteria, 20 contestants will step into the next round as semi finalists. The semi finals will be held in two rounds- Persang round and Best of 5 Karaoke or live band round on February 13th at Hotel Palm Beach from 10:00am onwards. 5-6 Finalists will be selected and final round will be arranged as per judge’s discretion to select top winners.

Winners will be announced at an exclusive press meet at hotel The Park on February 16, 2017. All the finalists will be invited to the ‘Alka Yagnik Live’ show on February 18, 2017 and the winner will receive award from the legendary singer herself.
