Shriram properties and Rotary club of Vizag plant 1000 trees in the city

The city has witnessed something really heartening and inspiring today. Shriram Properties, in association with the Rotary Club Visakhapatnam Central, has successfully organized a project called the “1000 Tree Project”. As a part of this tree plantation project, as many as 1000 saplings have been planted at Shriram Panorama Hills, Madhurawada.

The details of the tree plantation event

This activity, which comes under the Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) of the Shriram Properties, included an active participation by students of various schools. The activity got under way with a festive vibe as all the little ones got busy planting trees at various places in the locality. The schools which participated in this activity were the Greendale International School, Timpany School, Presidential School, and Vikas.

The children were ably guided by their faculty members. The CEO of Shriram Properties-Vizag, Mr. R.Balaji, the president of Rotary Club Visakhapatnam Central, Mr. Manoj Goel, Mrs. Usha Reddy of Rotary Club, and staff of Shriram Properties were also present at the event.

The 1,000 tree project is not only a commendable act by the concerned officials, but is also a progressive step towards India’s Swachh Bharat campaign.
