[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Vizag played host to yet another marathon on Sunday, 25th September. The initiative for this five-k run was taken up by the Rotaract clubs of Vizag with the primary purpose of highlighting the Rotary India Literacy Mission. The run, which had around 3,000 participants, was flagged off by Minister of HRD Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Beach Road.

The students who took an active part in organising the marathon and supporting such a noble cause were the young rotarators of St. Joseph’s College for Women and Gayatri Vidya Parishad. The minister congratulated the especially for their efforts in making the marathon a success.
