Rayalaseema Express derails, Indian Railways staff take prompt action

An accident of the Rayalseema Express leaves people worried and distressed but reports indicate no passengers hurt and Indian Railways staff have taken quick action.

The said train, the Rayalaseema Express was derailed near Sirnapally, in Nizamabad district of Telengana. It has happened today morning and has caused panic among those whose near and dear ones were on board the Indian Railways train. It is safe as per reports and no passengers have been hurt in the derailment scare. The Rayalaseema Express train derailed near Sirnapally in Nizamabad district on Saturday morning.

The area falls under the purview of Central South Zone Railways and as per ANI, the spokesperson Uma Shankar has said that, “Rayalaseema express was derailed near Sirnapally. All the passengers are safely moved to Nizamabad station. In between Uppalvai and Sirnapalli stations on Secunderabad – Mudkhed section, two wheels of a coach of Tr. No. 12793 Tirupati – Nizamabad Express slipped the track at around 08.05 hrs today. Acting swiftly, railway authorities transshipped passengers of the train to their destination.”

As a result of the derailment, the traffic of trains on the track was affected for a few hours. In swift action initiated by the Indian Railways staff, the traffic was expected to resume by afternoon. The prompt action of helping the passengers reach their destination is commendable work by the Indian railways staff.
