The suicide note of the 36-year-old stated depression as the cause for taking the extreme step. “Due to depression, I am killing myself. Nobody else is the reason. My brain is my enemy,” the suicide note read reportedly.

The police said that Radhika Reddy returned home from the office and went directly to the fifth floor of the building from when she jumped off. The anchor suffered multiple fractures and injuries and died on the spot, the police informed.

Radhika’s father told the media that he was waiting for his daughter to return from office. He, however, heard a loud noise around 10.30 pm and found his daughter had committed suicide by jumping off from the building.

Radhika Reddy was working as a news presenter with V6 channel.

The anchor recently divorced her husband and lived with her parents in Moosapet. She even has a 14-year-old son who is differently-abled.
