P V Sindhu felicitated as Deputy Collector in AP Government.

Silver winner at the Rio Olympics, PV Sindhu is India’s pride and AP’s darling. She has brought immense glory to India and all hope for more. Chief Minister Shri N Chandrababu Naidu presented her with the appointment letter for Group-1 officer. He expresses the belief that in the future she will definitely add winnings to India’s glory.

PV Sindhu currently works with Bharat Petroleum and has been employed there since 2013. She works as an Assistant Manager for sports in their Hyderabad office. Her silver winning at the Olympics has catapulted her into the national and international sports hot spots. She shares the stage with sportsmen like Karnam Malleswari, Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal and Sakshi Malik. Her win is historic since she is the first Indian woman to win silver at the Olympics.

Her illustrious felicitations include:

• Rs. 5 Crore cash reward from Telengna government.
• Residential plot in Hyderabad from Telengana government.
• Rs. 3 Crore from AP government.

Deeming it an honor justly deserved by this Olympic athlete, AP government has appointed her as Group-1 officer.
