A convoy of Central Reserve Police Force carrying security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway was attacked by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber on 14 February at Lethpora (near Awantipora) in the Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir, India. 44 Central Reserve Police Force personnel were martyred in the attack, which Jaish-e-Mohammed took responsibility for. The attacker was identified as Adil Ahmad Dar, a local from Jammu and Kashmir, and a member of Jaish-e-Mohammed. Most of you would be knowing this piece of grievous news about the Pulwama attack. The following are some of the major events that have taken place after the Pulwama attack.
Post the Pulwama attack, It’s high time for Pakistan to realise and accept that it’s breeding terrorists. They should realise the need to eliminate them instead of blaming India for false allegations on it. Counter-terrorist operations should be taken up on war-footing and Pakistan should, in fact, support countries like India and the US which have helped in destroying terrorist training camps. It is also expected that the Indian government would take crucial and sensible decisions in the days which lie ahead.
