Pulsus, the Scientific Content Development and Research Institute is reported to soon set up a facility at Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam. The company will be setting up this with an investment of ₹ 100 crores over the next three years.
Pulsus Group is a Health Informatics and Healthcare Services Company and a publisher of scientific, technical, and medical literature. It was formed in 1984, primarily to publish peer-reviewed medical journals.
Mr. Srinubabu Gedela, Pulsus CEO, belongs to Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. As reported by The Hindu, on Wednesday, he said that it was his dream to increase the company’s workforce to 10,000 people, with an investment of ₹1,000 crore in next few years in India.
“After the successful translations of Chinese and Russian, taking the view of recent Government of India’s initiative to keep the healthcare information in regional languages, the PULSUS will like to translate all scientific, medical and healthcare information presently available (more than 2.5 crore articles) from English to Indian languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi with Rs 1,000 crore investment which generates 10,000 direct employment,” Mr Srinubabu said
while addressing the students at Andhra University on Wednesday.In addition to this, he also said that the Visakhapatnam facility is likely to generate as many as 2,000 jobs once it’s ready to operate.
Currently, the company has offices in many cities like London, Ontario, Singapore, Hyderabad and Chennai.
