Modi says 125 crore Indians with him for his next “board exam”

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in an interactive ‘Pariksha Par Charcha’ in New Delhi, where he held a session with students from schools across the country. The session saw the PM answer different questions posed by students, and enlighten them on various educative aspects. In addition to the nearly 3000 students who participated in the event at Talkatora stadium, many other students took part through video conference, social media platforms, and TV channels. The event comes two weeks after the PM launched his book ‘Exam Warrior’, that consists of 25 mantras to help the students face examinations without stress.

Girish Singh, a student of Class XI, in a candid conversation, asked PM Narendra Modi if he was prepared for his board examination of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in 2019. The PM, who took the question with a smile on his face, sportingly said that given his smart way of questioning, Girish should take up journalism as his career. Mr Modi went on to say that he had the support and blessings of 125 crore Indians with him and there was no reason to worry about the 2019 elections.

PM Narendra Modi, at the event, said that the parents mustn’t burden the children with their aspirations. He reiterated the fact that each child is unique and is blessed with a distinct talent. He also stressed the importance of the student-teacher bond. The Prime Minister even educated the students on the multiple benefits availed through the practise of Yoga.
