PM Modi accepts Kohli’s fitness challenge, further nominates Karnataka CM, Kumaraswamy

The “Fitness challenge”, “Hum fit toh India fit” hashtags and videos are creating abuzz on Twitter. Various celebrities in the country are showcasing their fitness talent and also nominating other popular people to upload a video of their core exercise. Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has posted a video of his yoga and walking session on June 13 morning, days after he being nominated by the Captain of the Indian Cricket Team, Virat Kohli.

The Prime Minister attached a video of his morning fitness which includes yoga and walking on his special track. He tweeted, ” Here are moments from my morning exercises. Apart from Yoga, I walk on a track inspired by the Panchtatvas or 5 elements of nature – Prithvi, Jal, Agni, Vayu, Aakash. This is extremely refreshing and rejuvenating. I also practice breathing exercises.”

He further nominated the Chief Minister of Karnataka, H D Kumaraswamy, one of the highest medal winners for India in CWG 2018, Manika Batra and the entire fraternity of brave IPS officers, especially those above 40.

Earlier, Virat Kohli accepted the fitness challenge on May 23 by Olympic medalist and the Union Minister, Rajyavardhan Rathore, on Twitter. He posted a video while working out on his core exercise and nominated Narendra Modi, Anushka Sharma, and MS Dhoni.

The fitness challenge has been initiated by India’s first ever individual medalist in Olympics, Rajyavardhan Rathore, on May 21. He asked the citizens of the country to post pictures and videos of their fitness and further nominate their friends.

The fitness challenge initiative which is delivering the importance of staying fit and healthy has been receiving accolades from the social media users.
