World Wind Festival To Be Held In Visakhapatnam

The World Wind Festival will be hosted in our city on December 3. Eminent musicians across the world will be participating in this music festival. The day-long event is being organised by the Department of Language and Culture, Andhra Pradesh.

The event is expected to see noted musicians like Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Sivamani and more. The aim of the festival is to support a local NGO that works for the upliftment of tribal folk. The World Wind Festival is expected to earn Visakhapatnam a permanent place in the global music scene.

The World Wind Festival will take place at Vizag Conventions near the VDCA stadium. Flautist Naveen Kumar, APTDC Executive Director Sriramulu and others have discussed the arrangements for the music festival.

The aim of the music festival is to highlight the best musicians worldwide and bring it to the local community. It’s a platform providing exposure for local musicians too. The event will hold audio visuals, workshops and talks by music bigwigs.
