Mr India Top 20 Contestant & Mr AP Contestant – Leayon

Having won a title in the Mr Andhra Pradesh pageant and competed in Mr India, local boy Leayon, shares the story of his hard work and how he fought his way through hard ships and difficult times.

Born and bought up in Vizag, Leayon had all the qualities to become an engineer, just like every family dreams of. But his interests and dreams took him along a different path, leading him to participate in beauty pageants and ramp walks. He entered the modelling business a year ago to prove himself, sparked off by negative comments from a certain Mr Vizag. One year of hard work has gotten him results, allowing him reach the Top 20 in the Mr India beauty pageant. Ironically, he event went on to judge Mr Vizag 2016.

Being a Kendriya Vidyalaya student, he always took interest in sports and other outdoor activities, turning him into a man of varied interests. He went on to do a BBM and designing course before getting into modelling. Leayon has a green thumb, with an interest in botany and growing plants. His speciality is growning Bonsai plants and he aspires to grow more. Apart from being a green lover, he holds a purple belt in JKD (a form of Chinese Kung Fu) and has knowledge of other martial arts as well. He has a wonderful singing voice and is a bass player in his band. Cooking is another hobby that brings him peace.

While asked about his experience training for ramp walks and beauty pageants, he states that the mantra to reach your goal is to work hard and have determination. He adds that his will to get the title brought him to where he is today and he plans to do more in the coming year. The new year will see Leayon participate in Gladrags, a huge platform for anyone in the modelling business.
