Microsoft has chosen 8 female students of Computer Science stream from GITAM Univrsity, Visakhapatnam to train with them as part of Women in Software Engineering Programme.
The 8 female students of computer science field have got a brilliant opportunity for training with Microsoft as a part of their Women in Software Engineering Programme. The programme involves voulteers from Microsoft who will be part of a mentoring group and create a unique learning platform. These students of GITAM University will be able to hone their professional skills and better their chance at a successful career in the field.
This programme of Microsoft was the brain child of a group of women engineers working for it who wanted to reach out to deserving students. The chosen few will have access of training in the field of their choice. The latest industry knowledge and tools will be made available to them and their chances of securing placements in top companies assured. The core areas are to be soft skills and life skills. The luck 8 students of GITAM University are Ch Charishma, Samridhya Lahiri, Anjali Sowgandhika, Tejaswini Panda, Tarigoppula Sai Sahithi, Sappa Sneha and P Sireesha. They are third year Computer Science Engineering students.
