Two technicians were reportedly taken ill due toxic gas leak at Divis Laboratory near Bheemunipatnam of Vizag district on 16 October, according to the latest news.
After the first aid at the local hospital, the technicians, Vinay Kumar and Hemant, were shifted to a hospital in Visakhapatnam.
It is learnt that the incident took place while samples were being collected at the lab.
Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board member Sandeep Panchakarla and board officials visited the hospital and talked to the victims about the incident.
They also talked to doctors and sought better treatment for the two technicians.
