Kerala Delicacies – From God’s Own Country

While our city has, so far, seen everything from dosa to shawarma food trucks, the recently introduced Kerala Delicacies takes our street-food game to a whole new level. Introduced by the owner of Raju’s Kitchen, the truck true-to-its-name, specialises in doling out spongy lacy appams with lip-smacking stew that come in four different avatars. There’s the regular old Vegetable Stew with Appam, Kaai Koorma, Chicken Curry or Chicken Stew with Appam.

Each of these dishes come accompanied with a small bowl of aromatic coconut milk that one can dip their appams into. Kerala Delicacies will also soon be introducing two new dishes to their menu – Tuna Fish Cutlets and Steamed Fish, both served on banana leaves, Kerala style.

Yo! Recommends

The creamy Chicken Stew that is mildly spicy with a hint of coconut is the perfect hunger buster. The Vegetable Stew is light on the palate and the soft and fluffy appams are an ideal late evening snack.
