“Visakhapatnam is where I learned the basics of acting”, Pawan Kalyan says

At a public meeting in Gajuwaka on Thursday, the President of JanaSena Party, Pawan Kalyan, has let out his affection for Visakhapatnam.

The actor turned politician and JanaSena Chief has expressed his love for the city. He said that the city is the place where his journey of moving closer to the people had started.

“I did not know what to do at one point of my life. Mooted with the way the society and life have turned out to be, I decided to dedicate myself to spirituality and thus moved to Tirupati for a year and spent time practicing Kriya Yoga. Never have I ever craved for fame and money”, Kalyan said.

Kalyan said, “Worried about my future and how I am turning out to be, my brother pushed me into the film career. I was very shy and never loved moving close to people. It was then, that I came to Visakhapatnam for training in acting.”

“Under the guidance of Satyanand Lanka, this city is where I started learning how to act. The plays he used to write mainly used to be about the social problems. To drive away shyness, I performed on the streets of Visakhapatnam”, he said.

Pawan Kalyan, as a part of the Praja Porata Yatra, is touring in Visakhapatnam to find out the problems the people in the city are facing.
