Vizag has already allotted land for IT companies to establish offices and start operations. The companies have been allotted land in the Rushikonda IT Special Economic Zone. The notices have been served regarding the delay in commencing of operations. The notice requires companies to start construction, failing which the allotment would be cancelled.
A two-day global workshop on ‘Supporting Innovative Entrepreneurs and the Role of Technology Transfer’ was organised by the Asia and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) in collaboration with Indian Innovators’ Association (IIA) and AP Innovation Society. It was inaugurated by Nara Lokesh, son of Cm Chandrababu Naidu. the announcement pertaining to categorization of IT companies were made there.
A three month window has been offered to the companies for commencing operations in Vizag. AP government has pitched the Center for clearance in the matter. The notice come with an encouragement for entrepreneurship development in Andhra Pradesh. The state government has declared every initiative for encouragement would be provided.
