Instameet In Visakhapatnam

A group of students is organising an Instameet in the suburbs of the port city of Vizag on the 4th of December 2016. An Instameet is a group of Instagrammers meeting up to take photos and videos together. The basic goal of this Instameet is to get other Instagrammers meet to one another and share their experiences, tips and tricks regarding photography. It also gives an excuse to get out and explore some place new. The venue for this meet is Thotlakonda beach and will have different sessions where participants will get to hear talks from various established artists working on particular area of interest on Instagram. This event is being organised by Huzefa Mh, Vikranth Varma and Arihant Jain to promote the sharing of quality content on Instagram and hashtag #vizaginstameet is being used for the event.

This Instameet is not only for the ones with professional cameras but also for those using phone cameras, GoPros, Drone Photography and Polaroid cameras. Also, for anyone who just needs a reason to explore photography as a hobby and Instagram as a platform to share their content.

Humans of Visakhapatnam (a Facebook page run by 20 year olds) will conduct a session on storytelling through photos.

They will have travel photographers, who happen to be in the city, also attending the meet. More Instameets will soon be coming up. They are also forming a photographers community which will stay connected through the Instagram page: everydayvizag
