Telugu Film Industry (TFI) actor, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, is celebrating his 35th birthday and wishes have been pouring in from the film fraternity. Since his debut in 2009, Chay has acted in20 movies. His next has not been confirmed but on Monday, superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna, Chay’s father, revealed the character look of Naga Chaitanya for the upcoming film Bangarraju. Tamil original ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’, starring Simbu and Trisha in the leads, was remade in Telugu as ‘Ye Maya Chesaave’ starring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. The film did so well that after striking a chord with the audiences in the Southern States, director Gautham Menon took the story to Bollywood to make ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ casting Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson.

The film was a commercial success and won various accolades including the two TSR National Awards.
