The Mustang Bar, at Green Park Hotel in Visakhapatnam, has donned an all new avatar. From distinct aesthetics to an envious collection of fine liquor, here’s what the place has to offer.
A statue of Johnnie Walker, in his iconic pose, welcomes you into this bar. The dark-coloured walls and the dim lighting complement the flamboyant use of dark blue within, emanating a comforting vibe.
Redesigned with an all-new lounge bar setup, the Mustang Bar has many new additions to it. A display flaunting differently shaped bottles, flashy overhead tungsten bulbs, and comfy sofas are what majorly constitute the beautified ambience.
The bar is equipped with in-house soothing jazz music, and a TV to entertain guests with live sports. Capable of accommodating about 28 individuals at the same time, the bar is an ideal bet for those looking for a cosy space to dine with friends or family.
The menu here has a wide range of drinks to choose from. Apart from a myriad variety in mainstream alcoholic drinks, the bar also specialises in offering richly-flavoured cocktails.
Jacob’s Creek Chardonnay Pinot Noir (Sparkling Wine) from Barossa Valley, Trapiche Malbec (Red Wine) from Argentina, and Hardy’s Stamp Chardonnay Semillion (White Wine) from Southern Australia, are a few of the extravagant pleasures for the wine aficionados. The Vodka, Whisky, and Rum sections of the menu too are resplendent with premium and exotic varieties. The non-alcoholics, on the other hand, can either go for soft drinks or mocktails.
In addition to relishing the drinks, customers can also order their choice of food. Catered by Tulips, the fare ranges from the Indian dishes to the continental delights and more.
Like the pedigree of the imported drinks mentioned before, the specially made cocktails too, come highly recommended. The Lemongrass & Lychee Martini, Whisky Sour, and Watermelon & Kafir Lime Mojito, with all their amalgamated flavours, are the must-haves. Try Kiwi Twist and Watermelon Basil Splash if you wish to go sober.
The starters are usually preferred when it comes to ordering food. While the Stuffed Crab and Lobster Thermidor are the favourites for the non-vegetarians, vegetarians can opt for Shahi Paneer Tikka or Veg Sheekh Kebab.
