ePass Scheme Registration
The government of the state has issued orders for clearing the ePass scheme which will be beneficial for the students from OBC, BC, ST, SC and other minor communities. However, this scheme would allow the students of the BC and Dalit Communities studying in government who score over and above 70% in the SSC examinations to avail this beneficiary scheme of studying for free in corporate colleges of the state.
The HRD minister, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, mentioned that this is an initiative is being taken by the state government by joining hands with the HRD ministry in order to uplift the students from minor backgrounds. However, the ministry is expecting a very large number of applicants and the total number of students who are eligible for this scheme are around 1.7 lakh.
This ePass scheme is not only to uplift the backward communities but also to minimize the commercialization of education from the level of intermediate. Under this scheme the students will also be benefited with EAMCET and NEET coaching. The application process for this will be going on till May 12 and the students will have to apply before then.
The state government’s initiative of providing education and special coaching for the backward communities is being given the top priority in the city. The District collectors are being a helping hand in pushing the registrations forward as quickly as possible.
