While the city is gearing up to host another CII Partnership Summit in January next year, it is also looking to host another major national event in the city. A two-day national conference on E-Governance will take place in the city on January 9th.
Jointly organised by the state and central governments, the state government has asked the district administration to take care of the arrangements for the conference. Union ministers will be taking part in the event that will address various topics like digital transactions with Internet of Things (IOT), data analysis, future cyber security policy and more.
The secretary of Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, G Viswanath, additional secretary Usha Sharma and other senior officials met Andhra Pradesh IT secretary PS Pradyumna, the chief executive officer of Andhra Pradesh Electronics and IT Agency, Srinivasa Moorthy, district Collector Pravin Kumar and under-secretary Vibhuti Panjivar recently to go over the details of the conference.
A thousand delegates from the IT industry are expected at the conference that will see the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and several union ministers. An organising committee led by Collector Pravin Kumar will take care of the arrangements required for the conference.
