‘Disturbed’ with the present society, Vizag youth kills himself

In a rather depressing news, it has been reported that disturbed with the current happenings in the society, a youngster from Vizag had committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan. The incident took place in Ratnagiri Housing colony in Visakhapatnam.

As per the reports, the victim, a 24-year-old B. Tech student, allegedly had left behind a suicide note stating that he wasn’t suitable to live in the current society. The youth had also apologised to his parents in the note.

The father of the deceased, reportedly, informed that he found his son hanging from the ceiling fan went he went to the latter’s room in the morning.

The police have filed a case and further insights into the case are awaited.

The incident comes as another sad instance of the increasing number of suicides among the youth. Experts have opined that youngsters need to be given proper counseling when in depression to prevent them from taking such extreme steps. A few months earlier, another youngster from the city had committed suicide after he got upset for a delay in marriage.
