The new criminal court is yet to come up in Vizag even though the government sanctioned Rs 34 crore, 2 years ago. The money has not been released yet and the public is facing many problems.
Two years ago the ramshackle criminal court complex was demolished. Ever since then the advocates are demanding for the new court complex with proper ventilation and sanitation.
The accommodation of thousands of people visiting the court has become a major issue. Everyday the court complex is crowded. The cases that come up daily have to stay longer in the court complex. Provided no rest rooms or wash rooms it’s very difficult for them to stay, specially for the women population. There is not even a proper place for the advocates to sit.
Lack of facilities is making it worse for the workers.
