Cricket fever has gripped the city yet again, this time with the Prof. DB Deodhar Trophy tournament that is to be held from March 25 to 29. Vizag has so far played host to ODIs, Test-Matches, Twenty-20s and also some IPL matches. Now it is all set to host the tournament at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy stadium.
Cricket buffs turned up at the airport and hotels to welcome cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda, Manoj Tiwary and others. Some even reportedly took selfies with the cricketers. This will be the first time Vizag will be hosting the Prof. DB Deodhar Trophy match.
