The CPM State Secretariat Member, Ch. Narasinga Rao is urging the Andhra Pradesh government to reopen the Chittivalasa jute mill in Visakhapatnam.

Speaking about one of the oldest jute mills in the state which has remained closed for over 9 years, he mentioned that the works of the mill should be undertaken by the government.

The mill is under the HRD Minister, Ganta Srinivasa Rao’s constituency and the CPM member mentioned that an investment of Rs 60 crore would help in re-opening the jute mill in three months.
