Congress Demands A White Paper Release

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President N Raghuveera Reddy attacked Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu and his Government demanding to release a white paper. The white paper should mention and disclose all the jobs created and investments made in various sectors in the last two and a half years by the State Government.

According to Reddy, CM Chandra Babu Naidu has attracted Rs. 7 lakh crore investments but hasn’t provided any details as to where it went; he also accused the CM of having a partnership with the BJP in not granting Andhra Pradesh a Special Category Status (SCS)  as promised during their poll rally in 2014.  “Investors who pinned high hopes on concessions promised in the new State after sanction of the SCS are now thoroughly disappointed,” he said.

Prior to this, APCC Vice-President, N Manohar had accused that the Partnership Summit held by the state government in the city in January has been a sham. Manohar sought details of the investments made during the partnership summit through RTI.

Reddy reminded everyone in the press conference that the Government still hasn’t responded to any of the queries.
