The monsoon floods have left Kerala in a devastating situation and people from other places are reaching out to provide all the necessary help the state needs. After the release of a note regarding help by the Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, various organisations have been coming in aid for the affected in the flood devasted state. In the latest, CMR Group Managing Director, Mavuri Venkata Ramana has come forward in Vizag to donate for Kerala Floods Relief Fund.
The MD, in the presence of the District Collector Pravin Kumar, has contributed Rs 10 Lakh cheque to the Kerala Relief Fund. The donation took place at CMR Central Mall at Maddilapalem in Vizag.
Earlier, a lot of film celebrities have also donated to the Kerala floods relief fund to support the state. While actor Ram Charan Teja donated Rs 60 Lakhs and 10 Tonnes of rice, his better half Upasana Kamineni donated Rs 1.20 Crores for the CMRF.
Anupama Parameswaran has donated Rs 1 Lakh to help the state to recover from the flood.
Surya and his brother Karthi have donated Rs 25 Lakhs and actor turned politician Kamal Hassan has donated Rs 50 Lakhs to cater the needs of the situation.
