Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu held a video conference with the HODs and collectors of all the districts on Tuesday. As per a report in The Hindu, the CM suggested that the collectors, instead of forwarding grievances relating to one department lodged in the other departments, should follow the model initiated by Visakhapatnam collector Pravin Kumar in the district.
While addressing the collectors at the video conference, Chandrababu Naidu said that the departments should forward the login ID and password to the concerned departments so as to facilitate easier ways of resolving the issues.
Visakhapatnam collector Mr. Pravin Kumar informed that the 1.73 lakh grievances pending in the district would be addressed in the next three days. He also added that while 60575 grievances were related to financial expenditures, the remaining 1.13 lakh were non-financial.
Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh and Joint Collector G. Srijana were also present among others at the conference.
