Chandrababu Naidu keen on promoting Village tourism

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu is keen on promoting Village tourism as per the Andhra Pradesh tourism policy.

The CM mentioned about turning villages into good governance hubs and also that 75 Grama Darshini programmes would be conducted in the villages to solve the problems. The officials from the government would be travelling to the areas two times a week.

“We differed with the central government for the state’s welfare and we shall continue fighting with the Centre till it accords special category status and a separate railway zone to the state,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

“We shall appeal to the central government to include fishermen community in ST list without disturbing the other existing communities,” he mentioned.

With the 19 lakh houses being constructed for the poor, the government

is planning to extend them to 25 lakh.

“Action will be taken to supply drinking water to every house in the state in the next two years. My government has been implementing programmes that were not listed in the election manifesto. A stipend for the unemployed would also be implemented soon,” Naidu mentioned.

Cm has also inaugurated a digital classroom at the Mandal Parishad Primary School in Kothapolavaram village. He spoke to the students and questioned them about agriculture. A cheque of Rs 3.15 crore to 62 helping groups of Gudiwada Gram Samakhya has been granted by the Chief Minister.
