Bollywood Couples We Wished Were Together-Together!

We have come across many couples in Bollywood, reel and real.  There were many who failed to impress us and some were just plain awkward! And then came those who made us wonder if they were in fact each other’s lobsters (All hail Phoebe Buffay- for this wonderfully weird vernacular!).

So, here are our top 5 couples whom we, so desperately, wanted to end up together!

Shahid Kapur and Amrita Rao

Don’t we all remember how cute they looked in their first movie “Ishq-Vishk”!? This was undoubtedly the second best thing noticed by the audience, right after Shahid’s baaaad fashion sense.  Then, they went on to do three not-so-great movies like Shikhar, Vivaah and Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi. Even the oldies had a thing for the oh-so-sanskaari (and oh-so-cheesy) couple in Vivaah!

But maybe we should’ve spoken a little sooner considering that they both are happily married with their respective spouses.

Hrithik and Kat

Ah the hot couple! We saw their burning chemistry in two movies “ Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” and “Bang –Bang”, and boy-oh-boy, did they have trouble keeping their hands off each other! WE TOTALLY SHIP THEM! Period.

Aamir and Juhi

Young and adorable, they sweeped right into our hearts! Their first movie “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” kindled love amongst youngsters. Their chemistry showed that a relationship doesn’t always require a damsel in distress who is eventually rescued by her knight in shining armour.  Why! Why couldn’t they be together?!

Varun and Parineeti

The first thing that comes to our mind when we hear about these two is awwwh! If it wasn’t for the We Chat Ad-campaigns, we wouldn’t have imagined these two together until now. They spice up our TV screen as well our hearts with their new song “Janeman Aah”.  Their energy complements each other just the perfect amount. And how adorable were those kisses?!  We still have hope. *fingerscrossed*

SRK and Kajol

The Ultimate. The Cutest. The Most Amazing. The Power Couple.

The most beloved couple of the 90’s. Who are we kidding? Still the favourite  couple of anyone who still has any sanity left in them. We can’t even begin to talk about these two without sobbing to ourselves a little first. From DDLJ to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, from Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham to My Name is Khan, they never failed to impress us. And the fact that their pairing was the only thing worth mentioning in the overaction ka bhandaar Dilwale, surely proves that they are in fact the ULTIMATE power couple.

As a 90’s kid, we all thought that they were married but holy kittens were our childish hearts broken into smithereens by reality! Why mum! Why?!

Excuse us while we go cry in the corner hugging their pictures.
