Bill Gates will be in Visakhapatnam for the Agriculture Hackathon and 3 day  AP Agricultural Tech Summit on Novemebr 17th. Bill gates is a well known American billionaire, philanthropist and co-founder of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates. He and his better half Melinda Gates have put their money into ventures that have brought fruit in the long run for betterment of the world and people. It is thus that his visit to Visakhpatnam has inspired a high level of expectancy and hope.

Bill Gates will attend the valedictory of the three-day AP Agriculturral Tech Summit on November 17 and he is visiting Visakhapatnam for just 2 hours. It is a brief one for he is diverting here from Lucknow. People’s response to the visit and initiative has given an impetus to the organizers i.e Confederation of Indian Industry and the State government. They have hopes to hear of a major grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It will aid in the development of agriculture in the State and that is the principal aim.

The future aspects of development of agriculture by adopting modern practices and technology is the main goal of the event. Chandrababu Naidu, the CM of AP wants the priority of the best of technology aiding the sector for the best output. In the past the philanthropist has aided ventures such as these and his aid to Hyderabad in the past has lead to increase in expectations.
