Bigg Boss Telugu OTT confirmed?

Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 finale was a star-studded event, ending the 15-week roller-coaster journey on a high note. The show that started with 19 contestants, concluded with the top five finalists, fighting it out for the season 5 title. While Shanmukh and Sreerama Chandra emerged as the first and second runners-up respectively, VJ Sunny was announced as the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5. 

The Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 finale was graced by the Bollywood stars, Alia Bhat, Ranbir Kapoor, and director Ayan Mukerji. From Tollywood, Director SS Rajamouli, Nani, Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty, among others, were present at the show and participated in the elimination process. 

While the entire finale episode went well, just before bidding goodbye to the show, Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 host, Akkineni Nagarjuna, left the telebuffs perplexed, announcing that Bigg Boss would be back in two months. Since this announcement, talk and speculation around Bigg Boss Telugu OTT, has been doing the rounds. 

Bigg Boss Telugu OTT will be the Telugu language spin-off of the Bigg Boss Hindi OTT, which was hosted by Karan Johar and premiered on 8 August, 2021. Unlike the usual version of this reality show, the OTT version only streams on a select OTT platform. While Disney+ Hotstar was roped in for streaming Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5, the organisers will most likely stream the upcoming version on the same platform.  

According to popular reports, the OTT version of Bigg Boss Telugu will premier towards the fag end of February or early March, 2022. The show will run for six weeks and will involve celebrities from various professions. 

While telebuffs continue to debate if Bigg Boss Telugu OTT will stream on Netflix, Aha or Disney+ Hotstar, the official update regarding the same is awaited.
