The BCCI is thinking to move Australia A two four-day cricket games against India A from Visakhapatnam to Bengaluru.
Already, the 50-overs Quadrangular series has been shifted from Vijayawada to Bengaluru due to heavy rains and unfit ground conditions. The Australian players had to spend the most of the week staying indoors or training at an indoor gym in Vijayawada.
Though there is no official announcement, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has facilitated all logistical arrangements.
The first four-day fixture is likely to be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium from September 2-5, while the second would be played in Alur from September 8-11.
Only one-day matches were hosted by Alur until November 2017. The recent construction of a clubhouse and dressing rooms meeting the standards of BCCI have bought the venue the first-class license. Alur hosted the second four-day fixture against South Africa A, last month.
