Bala to direct Tamil version of Arjun Reddy starring Vikram’s son Dhruv

Arjun Reddy had a dream run at the Box Office. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial created a rage among the audience and emerged as a blockbuster. With Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey playing the leads, Arjun Reddy not only catered to the Telugu audience but also made a name for itself in other markets as well. The movie is now ready to be remade in Hindi and Tamil. While, reportedly, Ranveer Singh will play the titular role in Hindi, the latest news has confirmed the Tamil lead as well.

Ace director is set to direct the Tamil version of the film with Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv playing the lead. Bala is a national award winner and has directed many cult movies like ‘Pithamagan’ (Sivaputrudu), ‘Naan Kadavu’ (Nene Devudni), and ‘Sethu’ (Seshu). This movie will mark the acting debut of the youngster. While the reports of this news were making rounds since the past few days, it was confirmed by Vikram yesterday via his Instagram

account.

As one knows, Chiyaan Vikram is a big name in the Indian film industry. The actor is famous for his impeccable acting skills and even bagged many awards for films like ‘Pithamagan’, ‘Sethu’, and ‘Anniyan’. The fans will be waiting to see how the junior Vikram will perform.

Arjun Reddy is the story of a medical student who deals with anger issues. The plot revolves around twists and turns in the love story of the protagonists. The movie was widely hailed for its bold style of storytelling while delivering a heart touching love story.
