ANITS Communication Engineers Society (ACES), a part of Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Science (ANITS), along with the Department of ECE is organising a two-day national level tech fest ‘TACHYON 2.0’.
The annual tech fest features technical, non-technical and pre-fest events. The technical events include the paper presentation and hardware expo. Students who display their technical expertise in these events stand a chance to win cash prizes up to INR 20,000. Other technical events include Circuitrix, Digi-trade, Crack & roll and Code-D-Code.
TACHYON 2.0 also includes a number of non-technical events like FANDOM, LAN Gaming, Theta Telugu, Treasure Hunt and Make a Move.
In addition, the techfest of ANITS in Visakhapatnam also brings some pre-fest events and contests which include Business Combat, Mock Drive, Art Expo, and Shutterbugs.
“The event of Business Combat makes the participants familiar with the corporate world and helps them take the first step in transforming themselves from an engineer to an entrepreneur. It provides them with a platform to share their ideas,” say the organisers of the event.
To promote TACHYON 2.0, students would even participate in a Flash Mob at CMR Central, Visakhapatnam and ‘Stop violence against women’ themed 2K Run.
Business combat: 20 February 2019

It may be recalled that the inaugural edition of TACHYON, which was organised last year, received a decent response.
