We all know the health benefits that can be gained by practising Yoga. While some of us make it a point to do some asanas daily, most of us are unable to do it. This might be either due to lack of time or due to not knowing how to practise these asanas is the proper way.
However, much to the delight of many Vizagites, the Andhra University will be starting a 3-month course in Yoga. The course will be a certified one and is being organised by the Department of Yoga and Consciousness of Andhra University.
The director of the department, Mr T.V. Anand Rao informed that the course will begin from October 1st. The classes, which will be held from 6 to 7 in the morning, will teach different asanas, shudhi- kriya, and pranayama among others. The registrations for the course have started and those interested can get their names registered at the Yoga Village on the Beach Road.
