Tragic incident took place in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh where a 15-year-old boy got electrocuted due to a high voltage electric wire at Jaggaiahpet on Wednesday.
The boy, identified to be Pagadala Ramasai, had completed his class X recently. On Wednesday around 1 pm, he went to the railway station along with his friends. While his friends were clicking photos on their smartphones, Ramasai climbed atop a halted goods train to click selfies.
Unfortunately, he came into contact with the electric wires and got electrocuted. Ramasai was then rescued by the railway staff when they started hearing the sounds and seeing the fire.
He was brought down with several injuries. The doctors in the local hospital treated him with first-aid and referred him to a private hospital at Gollapudi, Andhra Pradesh. Chances of survival were minimum as he sustained 95% burn injuries. He died in the hospital after five hours while undergoing treatment.
