Allu Arjun all set to make his Kollywood debut under Linguswamy’s direction

Tollywood actor Allu Arjun and Tamil director Linguswamy have announced in the past that they would be teaming up for a bilingual project. However, since then there hasn’t been any update on the project and many speculated that it has been shelved. But to the delight of many fans, the movie will be up and running from next year. The movie, which would be the first from this duo, will mark Allu Arjun’s Kollywood debut. Linguswamy has directed films like ‘Anjaan’ (Sikandar) and ‘Paiyaa’ (Awara) in the past and has a decent name in the Tamil industry. Allu Arjun, as we all know, has made a name for himself in the film industries of other languages as well.

As per the latest reports, the movie will hit the floors during the summer of 2018. Bunny, as Allu Arjun is popularly known, is currently working on his ‘Naa Peru Surya’. The movie, which is being directed by Vakkantam Vamsi, will release next year. Linguswamy too is currently busy shooting his next with actor Vishal. The duo will join hands once they get relieved of their current duties. Another news that is raising the stakes on this movie is that, reportedly, Academy award winner A.R.Rahman will be composing the music. If this does happen, it will be the first combination of Bunny and A.R.Rahman.

Recently, superstar Mahesh Babu tried his luck in the Tamil industry with his Spyder directed by A.R.Murugadoss. It will be interesting to see how Allu Arjun will fare at the Tamil box office.
