2 year old dies after being hit by a school bus 60 kms from Visakhapatnam

Unfortunate news of a 2 year old who was hit by a school bus, just 60 kms away from Visakhapatnam. The child died on spot.

In Peddacheenarla village in Nakkapalli mandal, about 60 km from Visakhapatnam, a 2 year old was playing and got hit by a school bus which was passing by. This incident happened on Tuesday and the accused has been identified as bus driver D Nageswara Rao. The school bus belongs to Sri Adarsha School and Junior College.The girl was badly hit and died on the spot.

The 2 year old was the daughter of M Joga Raju, a fisher man by profession. He was informed by his neighbours and rushed to the spot. The locals of the area were filled with indignation and the police had to control the agitated crowd.

The bus driver has already been booked by the police and his license suspended. The death points to a carelessness by the parents as well as the bus driver. Playing on public roadways is always fraught with risk and this unfortunate incident highlights the fact.
