2-day-old baby girl found wounded in a dustbin in Visakhapatnam

In what comes as yet another terrifying testimony to the atrocities being committed against the girl child in the country, a 2-day-old baby girl was left in a wounded state in a dustbin in Visakhapatnam. With the locals spotting the infant, she was immediately rushed to KGH in the city.

Reportedly, a few unidentified miscreants abandoned the child in a dustbin near the Tourism Guest House at MVP Colony in Visakhapatnam. A local resident, Akula Srinivasa Rao, spotted the baby girl in the dustbin on Tuesday and admitted her to the hospital. The child was spotted with a deep cut, possibly made by a blade, on her throat.

Reportedly, the child will be sent to a Sishu Gruha in Visakhapatnam after attaining a stable health condition. Meanwhile, the search is on to find the miscreants who committed the heinous act.

Last year, a 2-day-old girl child was flushed down the toilet in Kerala. The body was found by plumbers while they were trying to clear the clog.
