Celebs and fans give a thumbs up to 2.0 trailer

The much-awaited trailer of magnum opus 2.0 has finally been released and the frenzy among the fans seems to be pitching a new fervour. With the trailer giving glimpses of the technical wonders in the film, celebrities and fans have taken it to Twitter to applaud the genius of the filmmakers.

“The man who is pulling a mountain… The next frontier of Indian Cinema has been identified. You are sir! That Wow from Rajnikanth sir! Get ready for #2point0!” tweeted actor Siddarth.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared, “Rajinikanth… Akshay Kumar… AR Rahman… Director Shankar. Names that evoke tremendous curiosity… Naturally, the expectations from #2Point0 are colossal.”

The fans too seemed quite excited to watch their favourite Chitti back in action. While a few called the film as the pride of Indian cinema, others predicted that the Rajinikanth starrer would rewrite all the existing box-office records.

Starring Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles, the Shankar directorial has apparently been made on a whopping budget of Rs 600 crores, making it India’s costliest film till date. Coming as a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster, Enthiran (Robo), 2.0 will be hitting the screens worldwide on November 29.
