Jet Airways London Mumbai flight flies unattended as pilot couple have a mid-air fight

A strange event with a perfect recipe for disaster, Jet Airways flight had the pilot duo in a mid-air fight as 324 on board the London Mumbai flight left in fear.

Jet Airways becomes the focus of attention and a likelihood of disaster averted as a pilot duo believed to be a couple were involved in a mid air fight. In the course of their heated exchange, the London Mumbai flight of Jet Airways which has 324 passengers on board was left unattended. Needless to say the drama left the passengers fearful of their lives.

From reports, it is alleged that the male commander of the flight slapped the female pilot who exited the cockpit in tears. Immediately after this, the male pilot made announcements for the cabin crew to convince her and ask her to return. After repeated exchange, the male pilot violated stipulated rules and exited the cock pit himself. He convinced her to come back with him and the event repeated itself. She went out side the cockpit yet again. This time the cabin crew who were fearful of the situation as well as passengers ensured she go back inside.

The Jet Airways London Mumbai flight 9W 119 landed without incident at Mumbai Airport. This fight has happened when the flight was in the Iran-Pakistan airspace, 2.45 hours away from the destination. It seems a fight between them has been reported earlier. The incident was reported after the landing and Jet Airways has approached this issue with zero tolerance. Both pilots have been de-rostered. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken cognizance of the issue with a strict stand.

It remains a thought that a possible tragedy has been averted and the passengers much relieved to have landed safely after all this.
