What happens when a typical Hyderabadi comes to Vizag?

Hyderabad and Vizag are amongst the most famous cities in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Two cities that are famous for innumerable signatures, Vizag and Hyderabad witness truckloads of people switching in between them on all days. While we previously saw what happens when a typical Vizagite visits Hyderabad, here’s the flip side of it. Here are the 5 common things that most of us must have experienced when our “Pakka Hyderabadi” friend or relative visits the city of destiny.

#5 Criticizing Vizag’s Biryani

Coming from a place that is world renowned for Biryani, he/she would, expectedly, be little impressed with the biryani available in Vizag. Wait for your chance until you visit Hyderabad and get an opportunity to criticize the seafood there.

Gyan-Don’t be biased and remember that exceptional chefs exist everywhere and you need to praise good food irrespective of the place you’re having it at.

#4 The Haleem cravings

Another dish that makes Hyderabadis (everyone for that matter), go weak in knees. Consider yourself lucky if you are not in the vicinity of your guest who craves for Haleem, as the best you could manage is within a limited lot.

#3 What else does Vizag have?

“Not the beach, not Kailasagiri, not Tenneti Park, and no more of CMR Central, what else do you have in Vizag to show me?” Now let’s thank the government officials for bringing in newer tourist attractions that are helping us a lot nowadays in keeping our guests engaged.

#2 Breathing in fresh air

From travelling in the polluted atmosphere of the Lakdikapuls and the Panjaguttas to travelling in the comparatively cleaner atmosphere of the MVPs and the Rushikondas, the Hyderabadis will feel a lot better while breathing in the fresher air and cruising over the relatively less congested roads.

#1 Falling in love with the beach

Hyderabad might boast of innumerable IT companies, chic shopping malls, and fancy multi-cuisine restaurants, but one thing that the majority of the Hyderabadis fall for in Vizag is the beach. The tranquil waves, and the fading sun, set amidst a joyful ambiance, can bowl over any visitor to the city.
